This Micro SIM adapter allows you to use newest 3ff mini-UICC cards both in the iPad or your mobile phone with no additional equipment. With only one data plan you can switch the card immediately without paying for extra. Simply cut the GSM sim card to fit the adapter (please make sure you do not cut the metal contact.)
Instruction:
? Remove the GSM SIM card (15x25mm) from the device.
? Use a pair of sharp scissors to cut the GSM SIM (15x25mm) card into the size of micro-SIM card (12x15mm). Please be careful, do not cut into the metal contact area.
? Remove and re-insert the micro-SIM card came with the iPad per Apple's instruction.
? Use the adapter to insert the micro-SIM card into the GSM slot.

By Richard Ackley Works fine as advertised. I take my Microsim card and use the adapter to install it in the iphone 3GS. Or I can take it out and reinstall in iphone 4 with no problem.

By bquigly The adapter allows for a micro SIM to be placed in with a good fit. The only problem is that it doesn't hold it in place very securely. The micro SIM falls right through the opening. There is no flange or lip to hold it in place. I had to use a small piece of tape to hold it in the adapter. Other than that the material is nice quality and it fit into my phone once I did the tape modification. Cost seemed a bit high to me too for a piece of plastic.
Bottom line: get a different brand micro SIM adapter.

By D. Babcock This adaptor can NOT be removed safely. The thin edge will catch the SIM pins if you try and remove the adapter. Mine caught hold of the SIM pins and bent them to the point they made my ATT MiFI not recognize a sim card anymore. $150 mistake trying this.
