I've had this charger for a year now, no issues. It does just what it should, works great and charges the iPhone while in the car with no problem. A good buy.

The charger was a little big for the car lighter socket but it did work better after a few uses.

The charger is difficult to push into the lighter far enough to start charging your phone but it does work well once it is in and has a light to let you know what it is charging. Can't beat the price for something that charges your iPhone on the go! I would recommend it.

This product arrived quickly and charges my iphone in my car as it should. The only issue I have with it is that when I have my phone connected to this to charge, it causes some background noise in the sound quality of the music when I am also using my phone as an iPod in the car. When I unplug the charger, the noise goes away. I have not tried any other chargers, however, so that may just be a universal thing where all chargers cause background noise, but I can't say for sure.

I decided to wait until I actually got a chance to use it longer than a few minutes. I don't usually have to charge my iphone (1st gen)in the middle of the day and certainly not in the car but we went on a 6hr road trip and between texting, facebook, games and web surfing I needed to charge up. It worked great. Just like any average charger. My hubby has the 3G and he used it too w/ no problems.
