Does the job Aug 12, 2008
By Caryn I wanted to listen to radio commentary while attending WNBA games. For that, I needed an inexpensive AM radio, something I would not otherwise use. This radio does the job. It is easy to tune, carry and keep track of, both because of the color and the strap.

Coby AM/FM radio Oct 19, 2008
By Radioman This radio is what you would expect from Coby. The radio is lightweight and nicely designed. The dial, on off and AM/FM switches are small and the printing is very small so I wouldn't recommend it for older folks or those with vision problems. This would be good for sports fans who like to listen to the play by play on the radio while at the game.

Very Disappointing Mar 30, 2009
By Meg I purchased this radio so I could listen to the radio while I work around the house, without bothering my family. I specifically wanted to hear NPR. This radio would work if I stood in one spot, but as soon as I move it loses the signal. Kind of defeats the purpose of a portable radio. I guess you get what you pay for, but with this radio I got even less, because I can't use it at all.

Does ok for intended purpose Feb 21, 2011
By MyHomeZoo I bought this solely for use at the gym. Like a lot of gyms, the televisions in my gym have their audio set to run through fm radios, so I needed a portable radio if I wanted to be able to pass the time watching tv while doing my time on the cardio equipment. The audio quality is fine. Definitely not spectacular, but what can anyone expect for less than ten bucks? My only complaint about this is that it has an analog dial with tiny little numbers that are nearly impossible to read. It's also a little bulkier than I thought it would be, but it's very light.

Get what you pay for. May 28, 2009

"Moosh"
Works best when stationary, gets a little sketchy when I take it running. Very light and feels "cheap" but I have dropped it more times then I should have already but it still works perfect.
All in all I am totally satisfied for the price I paid.
