Great deal... When Everything Works Properly. Apr 25, 2010

This package is great for your basic user who is just looking for a bargain that they can afford. But do beware of poor quality of the player and/or the earphones.
When I got my player, it took me a while to figure out that the back/rewind button didn't work at all. So off to Coby it goes for warranty replacement. I'm sure it's a great player, and is normally a reliable piece of equipment, and I like that it's powered from changeable batteries, as I've taken to using rechargeable ones for all my electronic needs. No need to wait for it to recharge before heading off to enjoy more of your tunes. But, the only other down side, is the equalizer is only presets based. You can't set your own personal custom settings for that.
The headphones are only of the basic kind and only have an average sound to them. The Bass is a bit lacking on these. Generally inferior to the PHILIPS SHE9500/27 In-Ear Headphones.
Nothing to say about the Nite Ize Curvyman, but I'm sure it will work for those who don't like their headphone cords all over the place.
