Anyone who has ever spent a good chunk of money on something only to break it a few days later knows my pain.
I got a brand new, 3rd generation iTouch.
Day three, I dropped it from my lap, out of my car, and onto the hard concrete. Needless to say, the screen spider-webbed.
I had talked to some friends who replaced their iPhone 3G digitizers on Amazon so I gave it a shot.
The item was shipped with Amazon Prime and arrived in two days in great condition.
YouTube some directions, and EUREKA!!! My iTouch is no longer broken.
Thanks to Amazon and Seller for a wonderful experience.

If you have a digitizer that is shattered near one or more of the retaining clips, as I did, you will more than likely require a new mid-frame bezel. Try as I might, I found the only way to perform the swap was to break the plastic bezel that was adhered to the digitizer.
Having said that, the replacement looks as good as and is every bit as functional as the original.

The statement clearly says that these parts are only for 3rd generation ipod touches. I have a 3rd generation ipod that I was going to repair using this screen replacement. The parts came in timely and were in great condition; however!!!!...My "3rd gen ipod" was a factory transitional ipod and had parts from both 2nd and 3rd generation... The screen did not fit my 3rd gen ipod because the ipod had 3rd generation guts, except for a 2nd gen screen. Just be careful of this, because now I have to buy a new 2nd gen screen due to apple's dis-function.

They sent me the wrong screen. It was not the screen for the iPod Touch 3rd Generation "ONLY". The prong (or whatever it's called)on the replacement screen did not fit and there were no instructions included. Please don't buy from this user.

Dont ever buy this item from this seller when i received my ipod glass the top half was was shattered so i sent them a message twice and they never replied back dont fall for there cheap price!!!
