It works! It works really well.
It is still new so I can't speak to its longevity, but so far it has far exceeded expectations.
I am using it with an iPod Classic. I let the iPod battery run down almost completely, then plugged in the battery/charger. I then watched three movies in a row (I'm talkin' serious eye strain here!). Video drains the iPod battery pretty quickly so I was somewhat surprised that the battery/charger could supply 6+ hours of video, and even more surprised when I uncoupled it and found that it had not only powered 6 hours of video, but given the iPod battery a full charge as well---and the indicator lights on the battery/charger showed it still had 3/4 of its own charge left!
No instructions included with the unit, but it is pretty easy to figure out. It charges from the same USB cord used to charge the iPod.
If you spend much time far away from the nearest USB port or electrical outlet, but still want your tunes, this may be the answer.
If it breaks down in a couple of weeks I'll let you know, but so far, so good. Very good.

1-shippment was on time. in fact, it got a day earlier.
2-shape is nice. its made in china so the plastic used on my slipper is better but hey for such a price i dont care.
3-use is easy
4-its definitly not 1900mah.
5-if money is not an issue i would say u should try it. it might be good. if u dont want to gamble then dont buy it.
(update: the thing works great, it was not fully charged which is very normal. i do recommend it for this price.)
i am not regretting it so far.

Decided to try this product without much expectation. I was used to always carry a spare battery for my HTC smartphone, and when I switched to the apple iphone 4, I felt I lost this capability since there is no way to easily replace an iphone 4 battery.
This seemed to be a good was to recover the lost function.
I first fully charged the spare batter until the FULL led went on.
Then I ran my iphone all the way down to 10% battery. Without turning the iphone off, I plugged it to the spare battery. Nice to note that it did not require me to take the iphone out of its case, the battery can be plugged with the iphone inside the case, a major plus.
Well, after the spare battery was completely depleted, I had my iphone battery reading 89%... yep, from 10% to 89% charge into my iphone 4 with this device. I really like it!!!

Second time i plugged it into my iPhone the metal connector on the battery broke off in my iPhone. What a bummer!! Avoid.

This item needs to be sold as a one-time use charger. Once it died there was no recharging it.
