After doing hours of research on iPod Touch 2G cases (yes, I must need therapy), and seeing prices range from $10 to ridiculous, I admit I couldn't resist the great price of this flip case. At under $10 I decided to take the plunge and hope to be pleasantly surprised. I really didn't want to fork out a lot of money after the $$$ I paid for the iPod itself.
Unfortunately, while the case is functional, it feels and looks cheap. The fit is a little too dangerously snug for me (and I understand this could vary from case to case). It made me nervous slipping the iPod in and trying to pull it out of the case in order to plug in the cable for syncing. The bottom opening is really not quite large enough to plug in the cable. The leather feels slightly padded, but it's clear that what's sandwiched in between is a thin piece of cardboard. In fact, it may have been bent, because there is an unattractive crease/indentation on the cover. Also, the tab for the magnetic enclosure is so poorly crafted that the magnetic button's hardware shows through the leather on the front, leaving a bumpy unsightly impression. The suede interior is OK for the lid and back, but I think it's not a good material for the part that holds the device itself. Being where your fingers are holding the sides of the case all the time, it will soil from dirt and oil from your skin and look really dirty before long.
I'm all for reasonably-priced products, but sometimes going with a brand name is the best. Generally, the red flag is when the product is called "premium" something or other.
So, I ended up doing more research and purchased a Proporta Aluminum-lined leather case. Beautiful, beautiful case. OK I paid more, but look at the investment I'm protecting.[...]

Pros:
- Cheap price (under $11 with shipping)
- Good color choices (I purchased the light green)
- Holds iPod securely with access to all ports/controls while inside the case
- Seems well made
Cons:
- Adds some bulk, could be made thinner
- Thick leather make it difficult to access buttons on edge of touchscreen.

Great product for the price! It definitely feels like it cost a lot more than what I paid for it!
The nice soft interior is nice, doesn't scratch up my Touch at all. The color is a bit lighter of a green than whats shown, but I have no complaints, it still looks great! Overall a pretty sturdy little device that I would definitely recommend. You just can't beat it for the price!

I purchased this case for my 2nd Generation 32GB Ipod Touch. It is absolutely WONDERFUL!! I love it and wouldn't trade it for anything. The Ipod is VERY secure and I do not worry about it falling out at all. The color is great although it is a lighter green then what is in the picture. The inside of the case is this soft like material that feels very smooth.
My daughter is begging me for this case, she is 13 and loves it too. So I will be purchasing one more in a different color. She has a 1st Generation Ipod 16 gb and hers fits in the case perfectly also.
All in all this is a GREAT CASE and it is totally worth MORE then I paid for it.

I really liked the magnetic snap on this. Overall the product was ok, but it wears out very quickly and didn't seem to be very well made. it looks cute though and it does a good job of keeping your ipod protected. Although my ipod had a tendency to slip out of the darn thing if I happened to have it open and it got tipped over for some reason.
