The OtterBox is NOT waterproof up to 19 feet like the description says. I followed all the instructions and it ended up stopping my iPod when I submerged it for half a second.
However, it's a good, solid case, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. I've dropped it twice since buying this case and it has not a single mar on it.
So, good for protection, not good for dropping in a pool. You get the message.

I'm an absolute klutz, so imagine my relief when I bought this for my iPod! I have dropped it numerous times, with no impact to the iPod at all. Enough abuse will crack the hard interior plastic shell, but the rubbery exterior absorbs a lot of impact, and takes a lot of abuse without showing any damage. I have this for the iPhone as well, and have the same review for that. A VERY good product, and in my opinion, the absolute best protection you could ask for your electronics.
That said, the case does make the item quite a bit bulkier, and the rubber exterior makes it difficult to pull from pockets without turning the pocket inside out! In any case, I'm more than happy to sacrifice these small inconveniences for the protection I get.

I think this is probably a great product but I never received it I tracked it to South San Francisco and then it just dropped off the map. When I called Amazon I was offered me a refund which I accepted even though I would have rather had the otter.
