This case is pretty sweet. I gave it a 4 out of 5 b/c the bottom should have a pass through for the stereo jack so that you don't have to have it open when you are listening to your ipod. Other than that, great design, aesthetics, and protection. I love otterbox, I hope they continue to make more products for a long time to come. Also check out the 2000 and 3000 boxes. They are waterproof and crush proof. I hold my ipod touch in an otterbox defender case for the touch and then in a 2000 series box.

My "classic" ipod one day gave me the sad face. I took it into Apple and was told it seen it life span. I replaced my "classic 20 gig" with a Yellow 16 gig Nano. I wanted a solid built case with somekind of soft/rubber protection. Otterbox was they only company giving me the best of both world. I would buy any of Otterbox's Defender series for all my smaller electronic gadgets. Please give them a chance. Appears to be just perfect for my Nano.
