Ordered clip about three months ago have used it on duty belt with no problems at all. A necessity for any patrolman that carries BB. Excelent construction.

First - another reviewer said that his phone falls out of this holster - that would be because this holster is designed to be used WITH a Otterbox Defender Case for BlackBerry Curve 8300 Series (Black)already installed on your 8300 series Curve.
That being said, I found this holster to be a great thought for police, military, etc. that wear duty belts - it's more "beefy" that the original defender case clip, with a slightly longer belt clip - just not long enough. Unfortunately, the back clip is very stiff, and hard to slide over a duty belt, and is just a hair to small to work with my 2" Uncle Mike's Mirage duty belt. Otter says on their website that the clip will fit up to a 2.25" belt... but it's more like 1.9" in reality because duty belts are somewhat thick, and the otter clip is too thin to fit anything thicker than about 1/16". It's great that Otter thought of making this for public safety - but a shame they didn't make sure it would really work with popular manufacturer's equipment like Uncle Mike's and Safariland. Too bad - I'd like to see Otter take another shot at getting this right.

love the otter box it is the best. I was very sceptical at frist if my phone would stay in the holster but i have never had a problem i am a paramedic and am always moving around and i love it i know my phone will always be there

I have three of these and they work well. they have saved my phone from a couple of dozen hard drops, one hard enough to reset the phone.
my only gripe is that the setup is in no way waterproof and that is more of a phone flaw than an otterbox flaw.
great product and well built.
