it's a hardshell.it's a soft case..it's great!
the keyboard covering is wonderful..don't freak about it now..:) everything is protected...oh it feels nice to lay it down and not wonder what's getting scratched up?!
if ANYTHING..change how the power outlet/headset outlet are accessed..either put the cover on the other way..*it's connected by thin rubber i can see it will be torn off..or hinge the other side..
If you see yourself constantly going back and forth with the audio jack..you can always cut away the opening with an exacto and still keep your powerport covered.
the only pain...my treo is freezing...so..i just leave it on to power down by itself..(drain the battery)..but..that takes a while. otherwise.clean your hands and take it all apart and open it..grrr.
big hugs all! I would aprpeciate feedback on how to restart the Treo 850 to get around this limitation because the case is ROCK ON SOLID!:)

Very strong case. Made in two parts, a plastic one that covers the phone and a rubber glove that cover the plastic part.
Is bigger than you think, but all the buttons and ports area usable with this case. Even the stylus cant be pulled out normally.
The Palm Treo Pro is a really slim pda, not anymore with the defender case. This case doublres the width of the phone.
I recommend this case for people that works or are exposed to hard environment places, when dust, grime, impacts and similar situations cab affect the phone.
If you like the slickness and small size of the Plam Treo Pro, this cases is not for you. Maybe the Impact case from Otter Box too, or a silicon skin are more suitable for you if
Pros:
-Hard, really protects your phone
-Dust free, all inlets and buttons, even the camera are dust sealed.
-The sound is clear, not affected by the case
-Good design and appearance
Cons:
-Bulky, doubles the size of your phone
-Touch screen is a little hard in the superior part.
-Access to charge and headphone plugs is difficult to seal back after use.
