 Best case for a minimalist's wallet. May 14, 2010

I ordered this case to go with the Ipod Touch 3rd Generation and have no information on any of the other ones.
It does have a magnetic clasp if you are wary of them, however I haven't had any issues with my Ipod that might have arose from that.
The acrylic snap in enclosure secures the Ipod quite well to the leather casing. This was the main reason that I bought this case. It does not obscure any of the functionality of the Ipod. There is a cutout in the acrylic for the volume controls, top button, connector port, and headphone jack. (Note that this case will not work for Iphones because there is no hole for the camera.)
In addition, if you are a minimalist, the 2 pocket wallet is large enough for, snugly, 4 or 5 cards, after the leather expands a little bit. I carry around a credit card, one or two bills folded into quarters, drivers license, a RFID card and another ID, though this would probably be more ideal minus the thick RFID card. Prior to having the leather expand, the pockets are too tight to use for anything, so I would stuff a few cards into it overnight.
The thickness and dimensions of the entire case are still able to fit into my flexpod car mount system with the wallet part folded to the back. (About 3 times the thickness of the ipod in total.)
I like the book case design, and while I know that you don't need a case for the Ipod, I've found this one quite stylish and effective.
In addition, they provide some sort of screen protector with some obscure installation instructions. I'm currently using it since it keeps off more fingerprints than the normal glass, but it's not really a selling point. There is no difference in the sensitivity of the Ipod touch, so you might as well try it if you don't already have a screen protector.
For information though: the plastic sheet they provide is actually 3 pieces of plastic, with the piece that you want to use sandwiched between them. Remove the sheet marked by tab 1, and the face that it exposes should be slightly sticky. Align and lay that down onto your ipod, and do it right the first time, I'm not sure how well it works if you try to pick it up a few times. Then pull tab 2, and that will take off the back cover sheet and leave behind the plastic screen protector you would want to use.
All in all, this replaced my wallet (read: slimmy style wallet, which some people don't consider to be a wallet.) and my old ipod, and turned it into a single object to carry around, so I'm quite happy.

Got the case look nice and ipod fit perfectly in there.Had 2 Card holders but cards are hard to put in there.Not able to even put 3 cards in there.When i pull out my student id card feels like i have to rip the case apart to do that.Fits ioto pocket fine.U can use it like a wallet but i wouldn't.
