This is a great little cover for my ipod Touch 4th gen. I purchased a similar over made by minisuit at the same time for a higher price and was amazed at the differences. This cover has a lip that extends far enough over the edge as to ensure the screen protector edges are covered and won't peel up. Also, the thickness ensures that my itouch surface will not contact any other flat surface when placed face down. The minisuit cover fails in both regards AND fit so loosely on the ipod that it actually falls off! I'm returning the minisuit cover and sticking with this product.

For very little money, I've provided my delicate little iPod Touch (4th gen) with a cover that fits great, looks great, and offers important protection. The silver on the back of the iPod Touch has a tendency to scratch easily, and this covers/protects that area. Also, I am ashamed to admit that I have dropped my iPod trying to manage a bag, drink, and headphones, and it fell on a concrete sidewalk. Besides a minor scratch on the corner of this great little cover, my iPod is still working great.

I bought this for my wife after she dropped her iPod getting out of our car during a carjacking.
Luckily, no one was wounded and the iPod received few wounds. Once we finished writing our police reports, I knew I needed something to better protect my wife and protect the resale value of her iPod Touch.
After scouring Amazon for literally seconds, I found this skin! I wasn't too sure about it, but at that price point I knew I couldn't keep myself from purchasing it on the spot.
I waited anxiously on my doorstep for this to arrive. I caught a cold since it was the middle of winter when I bought it, plus missing a few days of work. But it was absolutely worth it!
When the skin finally arrived, I feverishly unpacked it and gently slid the iPod Touch into it. Oh what glory then shone forth! I realized my turtle's basking lamp was reflecting off the screen and promptly shifted positions to avoid the glare.
Upon handing my wife her new iPod (seemingly, little did she know it was actually the same one with a new skin), she promptly threw it at my face to determine it's sturdiness. In the battle that ensued, we discovered that not only could we make very good use of our expensive health insurance plan, but that the iPod's new skin kept it marvelously free of scratches and blood.
Once we got back from the health clinic, we decided a good night's sleep was in order. After consuming 3 grape/cherry/apple otterpops apiece, we allowed ourselves to fall asleep listening to the powerlines swishing through our climbing roses.
Waking up the next morning, we discovered an odd smell in the air. We're both familiar with shooting handguns, but were surprised anyway to find one lying on our bed. After the usual questions of which spouse forgot to lock the turtle away from the gun closet, we got up and found a bloody man lying on the floor. Naturally, we quickly grabbed several towels to sop up the blood and called our lawyer to ensure that nothing could come up when we called the police. Getting off the phone, I saw my wife in tears. In her hands was her iPod in it's brand new iPod skin. It had died.
As we later determined, our house was broken into by the aforementioned bloody and also rather dead man. When he saw us asleep an overwhelming urge to destroy came over him. He pulled out his handgun and shot directly at one of us! Our fearless new iPod skin heroically threw himself in the way of the flying projectile, deflecting it back into the temple of the intruder. He died instantly.
The round deflected by the heroic iPod skin had done it's damage, cracking the logic board inside the iPod.
I would buy this skin again, but so far I cannot bear to replace the heroic one who gave it's life for ours.

I've had this case for over a year now and, especially for the very low price I paid for it, it has been incredible. Its neither hard nor too soft or gel like.
Pros:
With a very itchy fingered 4 year old, my iPod touch has been knocked about a fair bit. This case has kept it intact...after a little more than a year, my iPod is still in excellent condition- no scratches or dents. It also juts out just the teeniest bit in the front, which helps when its been placed face down.
I do not remove the case, except for the occasional polishing...and it has stayed on, intact, since the day I put it on.
It doesn't interfere with the screen protector I have on...so there's no peeling action.
Doesn't make the iPod look or feel bulky.
The translucent look is nice...just enough to be able to see the apple logo and, possibly, any engravings as well.
Cons:
It isn't overly smooth but its smooth enough to cause the iPod to slip out of my hand sometimes...nothing I cannot live with. Definitely not a problem that would make me take a star off!

In short, this case fits very snug and is constructed of good quality materials. If you bought a similar TPU case at an electronics store it would cost upwards of $20. That's just a silly price for a piece of plastic. Get this cheaper one instead and you'll be happy you did.
