This slim profile belt fits all iPhones, iPod touch and many smartphones including any of those that fit into Tune Belt's armbands #AB82 and #AB83 (partial list below). It is packed with features that provide unmatched comfort, convenience and protection while you run, workout or listen on the go.
The stretchy neoprene belt is stable and secure so your device will not bounce around, and is so comfortable you will forget you have it on. Other features include: the ability to hold your device with the top facing left or right depending on which orientation helps you read the screen and navigate easier; and a clear, protective window cover with full navigational control. An extra pocket on back of the belt holds change, credit cards, keys, etc. and can be used to store the earphones when not in use.
The belt is hand washable, includes a reflective logo, and adjusts to fit waist sizes up to a maximum of 38 to 42 inches depending on how tightly the neoprene belt is stretched around the waist. For larger waist sizes or to have the belt fit looser, see model EX2 belt extender (sold separately) which increases the maximum waist size by about 10 to 12 inches.

I was looking for a running belt that would hold my Iphone with the hard case I have it in. It fits very well in the case. I did have to cut a small hole for the headphone jack or I could have just moved the elastic material. I just didn't want to cause stress on the headphone plug.
The belt sits well on my waist. I run Runkeeper on my phone. I can tap through the plastic screen and get updates on my run, as well as listen to my music.
Either case, the belt does what it is suppose to do. Hold my iphone securely. There is little movement of the belt when I run.

I originally bought my girlfriend an Ipod Touch Armband from the Apple Store. However, her arms were way to miniscule for the thing to work properly. So instead of shelling out more money to get her a nano to work with her Nike + shoes. I saw this thing!!
The Waist Band fits great on her (and me). It does not move at all while running. A VERY GOOD ALTERNATIVE to armbands. The extra pocket for your key is also awesome.
I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for an alternative to the classic ipod/cellphone armband.

I've tested a few different holders. Some that hold the phone vertically and some horizontally, like this one. All was going well until I leaped over a snow pile yesterday and my phone rocketed out of the holder upon landing. The phone flew about ten feet then skidded across the pavement another fifteen. I will no longer use horizontal holders unless the closure is on top. Side closures, especially this one, just cannot take the force applied to the velcro.

I have the sprint samsung epic. It's roughly the size of the iPhone, and so I thought I'd give this product a try. I didn't want an armband holder because, well, the tan lines would be unattractive, and those things either fall down my arm, or cut off my circulation (because I make it too tight to compensate for the other reason). So I thought of fanny packs, and while those are pretty handy for hiking and and other like activities, the whole bouncing around thing doesn't work when you're running. So I decided to look for a belt like thing that would probably just hold the phone, ID and maybe cash. This thing fits the bill. It's the first and only product of it's type that I've tried, so I can't compare it, but I can tell you it's convenient and I totally recommend it.
It isn't perfect, but the minor flaws can be fixed so easily. The belt has these two flaps that you pull to tighten the belt around your waist, the same mechanism used to adjust the length of the shoulder straps on backpacks. The problem is that the designers didn't create a stopping mechanism that would prevent the flaps from just sliding all the way through. Simple fix, break out the sewing machine, or needle and thread once you've gotten the thing adjusted just right, and sew these flaps down. Second design flaw, the little piece of Velcro that should secure the phone in the pocket isn't that great, it might be because the pocket was designed for the iPhone which has different dimensions, but the Velcro doesn't secure my phone as well as I'd like. Simple fix, I broke out the sewing machine/needle and thread again, and sewed on a small hook & eye. I connect the hook, and then firmly secure the Velcro, and haven't had a problem since.
I'm a fan of the product and if your reasons for looking at the tune belt are like mine, I'd tell you to purchase it, and be prepared to make a couple of simple mods, cuz the design flaws shouldn't deter you at all.

iPhone fell out and shattered Oct 20, 2011

I was loving the tunebelt until my iPhone flew out and shattered. It was great having something that you didn't feel weighing down on you (like an armband). The velcro does not hold the phone in well enough for running. My phone had fallen out a few times before, but those times I got "lucky". Today, I was not so lucky. The phone flew out, disconnected from the ear buds, and shattered onto the pavement.
I'm heartbroken. My phone is ruined now, and it's all this damn belt's fault!
